Organized in 2008 for the descendants of James Richard Beus and Susan Parker

It’s purposes are (a) to promote and coordinate Beus family (descendants of James R. and Susan Parker Beus) genealogical research supporting temple ordinances to redeem our kindred dead, (b) to enhance family solidarity in this work through expanded communication and education, and (c) to educate the rising generation to gain a greater appreciation for their ancestral heritage.

We invite descendants of James R. and Susan everywhere to make themselves known and to support the family organization in achieving its objectives. Specifically, we request that you…

1. • indicate your interest in participating through personal contribution of either time or money,
   

2. • indicate your direct-line path of descent from James R. and Susan,
   

3. • identify any special expertise, experience or information in your possession that you might offer to support the organization’s objectives,
   

4. • forward this communication to others who might be interested,
   

5. • identify family members with special qualifications useful to this effort , and
   

6. • provide your e-mail address together with comments and suggestions.
   

We are enthusiastic about the prospects; have incorporated in the state of Utah and are establishing this family website with links and bulletin board capability and more to come.

We feel strongly that the time for this initiative is right and that through broad participation much can be accomplished to avoid duplication and to pull together and magnify the various strands of ongoing genealogical research and other family history efforts.
